Hello & Let There Be LIGHT!

“Summer Solstice” is tomorrow (June 20th) in the Northern Hemisphere.

I find it inspiring and enlivening to pause and consciously attune to the larger Cosmic rhythms which can be observed at solstices and equinoxes each year.

They can be wondrous times to pause and remember the Bigger Picture of our lives, to celebrate our deep interconnectivity with the Cosmos and our planet home through awareness of seasonal cycle changes, as many of our ancestors have done throughout the eons. For example, for those who have gathered at Stonehenge to witness summer solstice sunrise.

You can watch the (first ever) livestream of Summer Solstice at Stonehenge on the English Heritage Facebook page. The sunset will be streamed live on Saturday June 20th at 9:26 pm British Standard Time, which is 4:26 pm Eastern Daylight Time. The sunrise (the most important part of the celebration) will be streamed live on Sunday June 21 at 4:52 am British Standard Time, which is Saturday 11:52 pm Eastern Standard Time. The summer solstice officially arrives on June 20th at 5:44 pm Eastern Daylight Time.

This is from USA Today: The summer solstice is the exact moment when the sun is at it’s highest point in the sky each year is at 5:45 p.m. EDT, June 20^th. This marks the beginning of astronomical summer in the Northern Hemisphere.

Summer Solstice is the longest day with literally the most amount of LIGHT in the entire year. Let there be LIGHT, inside and out.

LIGHT is a symbol of Consciousness itself.

And, LIGHT reveals what was previously unseen and opens the door to the possibility of healing, change, evolution.

Summer Solstice Prayer:

May we bravely awaken to that which is yet unseen, both personally and collectively.

May our brave hearts face what is in need of healing and unleash creative energies and capacities to contribute positive change.

May we become even more courageous and unconditionally loving emissaries of embodied LIGHT.
