Hello!
Since Valentine’s day last week, I’ve been reflecting upon my fondness for this silly celebration.
As far back as I can remember I adored Valentine’s Day.
As a kid I loved creating valentines to give away at school. Receiving valentines was even more fun and exciting!!!! It was the only time of year when kids would say nice things to
each other with intention.
Celebrating, giving gifts and expressing LOVE in any form for any reason continues to make so much sense and is a dedicated conscious practice at home and in my business.
Recently I’ve been having so many memories of precious moments throughout my life, like when my Mom (known by our friends as Mother Love) would extend her hands and place a gift in mine.
During her
final years, this became a regular occurrence…. a silver serving spoon, a see-through umbrella, a little quartz crystal ball. Every time I would feel her love so tangibly.
What I most vividly remember is not the actual objects or the words she said. What I remember was the blessing of her generosity, kindness and
loving attunement to me.
As Transformational Leaders our ability to communicate love and compassion is fundamental to our success.
The essence of love in the professional context can be expressed in a myriad of ways such as:
- Empathetic presence
- Expressed appreciation
- Genuine validation
- Even the willingness to confront
“The Power of Love to Transform” is essential to my work and how I empower others. Holding a powerful loving container makes it possible for my clients to discover and clear the inner blocks that come up on the path to successful living.
