Hello Bright Light,
Today, 6/20, is the official first day of summer and I want to wish you a “Happy Summer Solstice”. Especially in "light" of the challenges, in our lives and in our world, it is so important to keep our spirits strong and our
will to shine our light determined.
Celebrating the LIGHT that is present will increase that light!
There is something ancient in my soul memory that loves to
celebrate this Cosmological event each year, as a time to celebrate the light of consciousness within ourselves, each other, of Creation, and the Divine!
How about you? Do you celebrate Solstice? What does "Light" mean to you?
When I first learned about the Solstices and the Equinoxes, it made perfect sense to consciously align with and celebrate these Cosmological events. I love thinking about the relationship dance between our Sun and Planet, the dance between light and
darkness!
The “Summer Solstice” is the longest day and the shortest night of the year! The 24 hours with the most LIGHT of the year!!!
At this point in my life, after many elaborate and FUN celebration rituals in years past, I’ve noticed a change in my
expression. Today I feel called to simply tune in to the energy of the Solstice through contemplation and meditation. My plan to celebrate is to experience the essence of Summer Solstice directly in my Body & Being and to simply bask in the inner light and maybe do some writing.
