How are you today?
As I
discussed in this Note last week, my Mom transitioned from this life 2 weeks ago at the age of 87. I continue to take each next step on a path of grief and grace in the aftermath of this life-changing event.
The many, many synchronicities of this difficult yet amazing journey abound and confirm alignment with a
mysterious divine conscious universe over and over again.
Here is one example of a synchronicity:
The day before my
Mom (Grandmother Shirley) died, I was participating in an out of town conference, “Timeless Wisdom Training”, with my spiritual mentor, Thomas Huebl. We were exploring “Mother” imprinting and patterns with 118 other dedicated spiritual practitioners.
We went on a guided meditation to explore our
connection with “Mom”, from present time back through a variety of ages all the way back to conception.
The objective of this exercise was to notice our experience of relationship with our mothers at formative stages of development. Once we reached conception (where I remembered my original enthusiastic
“YES” to this lifetime and to being her daughter), we returned back through time into the present.
During this meditation journey I discovered much about my patterns in relationship to “Belonging”. The prevailing sense of relationship with my Mom was a golden line of unconditional love and presence that
fluctuated in and out but never went away throughout our entire 58 years together. At the end of the meditation, I experienced overwhelming gratitude to my Mom for giving me this profound and immense gift of a mothers love.
You can imagine how incredibly thankful I was to have this experience so fresh in my
memory when I heard the shocking news of her death the next morning!!!!
This is an amazing synchronicity!
I share this with you as a reminder of the value of spiritual practice, and of making and maintaining connection with your Soul and the Divine daily!
I truly believe that my lifelong intention to make my relationship with the Divine my first priority,
as well as my hours of prayer and meditation over the years, contributed to this divine aligned synchronicity… being exactly in the right place at the right time.
Every effort you make to make and maintain your alignment with your Soul and the Divine contributes to your experience of
aligned synchronicity.
In addition, the inner space and peace that divine alignment provides makes it possible to grieve deeply, or experience any difficult emotion, without becoming lost in the pain.
Through her consistent presence, my Mom gave me the gift of a sense of belonging.
She also gave me the gift of the SOUL-STREAM Life Map and Mastery modality I use in my coaching practice, that am teaching in a pilot program, and that I have begun sharing with you in these Notes.
It feels divinely designed to now have a vehicle through which to pass on this gift from Grandmother Shirley to others.
