Honoring Autumn: A Season of Letting Go,

Renewal, and Creative Rituals

The Autumn Equinox signaled more than just a shift in seasons. It offered a pause, a threshold moment between light and dark, between the outward busyness of summer and the inward quiet of autumn. This turning point invites us to release our old leaves, welcome new harvests, and ground ourselves in practices that honor both personal and collective transformation and prayers for positive change.

The photos below were taken at our recent Woman's Rite film and Autumn Equinox gathering. The community gathered first to write down, release and let go of into a "Letting Go Jar" and later a ceremonial fire. We also co-created the incredible "Blessing Tree" with prayer flags inscribed with what we are calling in/harvesting for ourselves and for us all.

It's a reminder to take a moment to appreciate and celebrate being human as an AMAZING gift! It's an invitation to thank my human body-mind "operating system" for how hard it works to provide. I also recognize this "jewel" has many needs to operate well so the "light of awareness" has a functional vessel to shine through. I'm in the process of upping my game in taking care of the human-being with a elevated choices in diet, exercise, spiritual practice, creative expression, and prioritizing relationships with family, friends, and community.
