Hello Bright Light!!!
As Winter Solstice approaches on December 21st — the moment when the light begins to return — I feel
an invitation to pause, reflect, and honor the natural completion of the year cycle. I created a Winter Solstice ritual video for you but before I share it, here are my thoughts:
In the spirit of this turning of the year, I’ve been reflecting on 2025 through the lens of Wabi-Sabi, the Japanese aesthetic that honors the imperfect, the unfinished, and the
beautifully evolving nature of all things.
Rather than rushing to assess the year, I’m gathering it tenderly — the challenges, the joys, the heartbreaks, the unexpected blessings — and wrapping it all in a red-and-gold bow of gratitude.
- Gratitude for the love
shared.
- Gratitude for the growth that rose from difficulty.
- Gratitude for every moment we tried to show up for ourselves, each other, and the world.
In my newest blog post: A Wabi-Sabi Winter Solstice &
Year-End Ritual: Embrace Your Ever Evolving Self & Life. It’s a gentle guide to help you release, honor, integrate, and welcome the returning light with intention. Come join me!
