We are all innately creative and our creativity is expressed through everything we do. The abstract painting class I’m taking right now has turned out to be a compelling exploration into the ART of Living. We can’t create truly potent or original work—or live fully alive—without welcoming vulnerability. Risk and confidence are dance partners in creative expression. Human
vulnerability is what makes art interesting and what makes a life meaningful. Tangible art making in all its forms, can become more than a skill or pastime. It can become a path of return, a pilgrimage back to the Self—to presence, purpose, and the pulse of authentic aliveness. Creating art is a way to align with the soul's desire to express, to play, risk,
grow.

This is what the card "Luscious Security" meant to my eZine collaborator/ co-"inspirator"/copy editor , Melissa: There is magic in being an interested observer when faced with a stressful or challenging situation. It is only by stepping back and observing with an open mind that i can determine the best course of action. Sometimes, all it takes is to focus on doing the simple things, on doing the next normal everyday thing, to disengage from the chaos and find my way back to center.
