When we stay connected to what brings us joy, meaning, and beauty – even in the smallest ways – we keep our hearts open and our spirits nourished. This inner light becomes the very fuel we
need to meet the world with resilience, compassion, and creativity. I’ve been asking myself daily, “What choices can I make today that light me up?” I strive to to be aware of what is most alive in me, moment by moment. This is an act of spiritual power. A quiet form of activism. A sacred choice to keep the flame of possibility burning through dark and tender
times. Here’s what’s lighting me up right now: Recently, I pulled a card from my Soul Code Illumination virtual card deck with
butterflies and the words: “Emerging Possibilities.” It landed with such resonance. It reminded me that creativity has its seasons—and that the “mushy middle” of the process (when the caterpillar dissolves and everything feels uncertain) is not a failure… it’s a sacred becoming. After a powerful summer of filming last summer, The Woman’s Rite documentary project entered a mysterious cocoon phase. From the outside, not much seemed to be happening. But inside, profound transformation was at work. This spring,
signs of life stirred. Now, as the wheel of the year turns toward Autumn Equinox, The Woman’s Rite is beginning to spread its butterfly wings. Invite inside.

This Month's Soul Code Illumination Card Reading What this card means to me? The Emerging Possibilities card feels like a gentle affirmation of our journey with The Woman's Rite film project. After its initial burst of life last summer, the project entered a necessary cocoon phase. This past spring, signs of emergence began to stir, and now, as
we prepare for our Autumn Equinox Celebration and fundraiser, the butterfly wings of this creation are beginning to unfurl. This card reminds me to trust the natural rhythms of the creative process—especially those mysterious in-between times when nothing seems to be happening and the caterpillar has dissolved into formless potential.
