Recently I had the opportunity to embrace my fear of public speaking, once again answering the call from Life to summon the courage to embrace the unknown. When Rick Archer asked me to be interviewed on “Buddha at the Gas Pump” I said yes, with no reservations.However, when it came to the day to be interviewed, my body and mind had other ideas about that decision. My heart raced like I was being chased by an imaginary saber toothed tiger until our conversation began. With Rick’s kindness and compassionate interview style, my anxiety eased and soon melted away and I felt inspiration strike!

This Month's Soul Code Illumination Card Reading

Here's what the November card meant to me:

During my interview with Rick I took a leap and trusted inspiration would strike in the moment when needed and it did. At one point Rick quoted someone describing spiritual awakening as... a constant free fall but the good news is there is no ground below!

This is also what doing things outside the comfort zone can feel like. Although we can't control when inspiration will strike, we can make ourselves available by trusting, taking the leap, and doing the thing that scare us.

Sometimes the only way to be free of the fear that binds is to pick it up tenderly like a little child, hold the vulnerable scared feeling close, and leap!

Reflect on a time when you trusted inspiration to guide you in the moment. What happened? How did it feel to take that leap?
