I recently experienced this firsthand with a new mentor, artist Peggy Zehring during her week-long Abstract Painting workshop in the charming town of LaVeta, Colorado. The experience of being mentored and encouraged by this vivacious woman in her 80’s is part of my preparation for initiation into Elderhood.

It's a heart warming reminder that The Woman's Rite film project I've been sharing with my community during the past month began just like that: A strike of inspiration and nothing else.

Our project's IndiGoGo campaign (now over) has shown me that others also received a strike of inspiration to support the project mission. It's been mind blowing to share my inspiration and then experience support from so many generous souls!!!!

My take away:

When inspiration strikes, trust and share it.
