Hello, Bright Light!

I’m writing to you on a cozy rain drenched November evening listening to a symphony of rain drops on skylights and wondering what message will come through for you in this month’s blog.

Last Spring, I was inspired to begin collaborating with my dear friend, editor and creative playmate Melissa Shaw to write a metaphysical inner child’s fairytale. Curiously, guidance to begin this project came through in the same time frame I turned 65 and the realization it was time to begin preparing for my rite-of-passage into the elderhood. Here are the questions I explore in todays’ blog post with you in mind:

The Divine Child and Wise One Within: What is the connection between the archetypes of the Divine Child and the Wise Elder, and why are they both calling to me simultaneously? How does this connection relate to those who will read this?
Awakened Innocence: How can we awaken the wonder child more fully and what gets in the way? Can a fairytale, like the one we're crafting, invoke the Child of Wonder state of consciousness we hope to encourage?
The Elder Speaks: A Collection of Wisdom Pearls For Living In A Troubled World: How might integration of the divine child’s wonder and sensitivity, guided by the Wise One Within, empower us to face the world’s conflicts and polarizations?
