Happy May Day Bright Light, In the Pacific Northwest where I live, winter has dragged on and on... and on. Over the last week, with a little sunshine, Mother Nature is finally beginning to show her fertile fancy new greenery and is blossoming in full vibrancy. Happily this springing up of Spring is encouraging an upsurge of inspired energy in me too. What is May Day looking like in your life? What this card means
to me? I remember reading a book long ago entitled: You Can't Push The River. This phrase rang so true I never forgot it. Just like Mother Nature, our life has seasons and cycles. Sometimes, as much as we might try, we just can't push past where we are in the cycles of our own destiny path. Sometimes, even if we want to push forward, make a change, or get started there are (inner or outer) influences blocking that
action because it's not yet time. With the seasonal change from grey to bright the light has turned green for
me. Mother Nature's bursting forth encourages me to align with this energy and move into action with a specific self care commitment I've been thinking about and wanting to make for years but it felt like trying
to push the river to go faster. How about YOU? Where are you getting the green light, GO???
