Hello Bright Light,
WELCOME, WELCOME, WELCOME, to all the new subscribers to the Life Blessing eZine! So glad you’re here!!! And a big soul hug to all of my inspiring coaching clients, colleagues, friends, and family too.
My whole life I have been devoted to exploring and contributing to the Awakening of human potential. I’ve come to realize that walking the path of Awakening to the deeper truth of who we are and what we are here to heal, learn, and contribute is the essential mission of human experience.
This bi-monthly publication is my way of staying in touch and sharing what’s on my mind. My goal is to offer inspiration and resources to support your Awakening Process and your work with others.
In the last ezine I announced my participation as a contributor in a recently published book entitled: What’s The Awakening Process Really Like: Twenty ordinary people talk about life beyond the spiritual search. It’s for people who have experienced what they might
describe as “spiritual awakening” as well as for those who are curious about this possibility in human potential. To check it out, click HERE.
There is not just one path of Awakening!
Have you ever felt perplexed, frustrated, or critically judgmental when observing self or others who are genuinely mature, even masterful, in some areas and yet much less than skillful or even completely dysfunctional in others? Â
This can be explained by the understanding that there are NINE fundamental Pathways of the Soul, nine realms and lines of development within which we learn, heal, and evolve our skills and capacities.
We develop in all nine realms simultaneously with no cap to our potential, no final destination; nine paths of Awakening to follow. People can be fully developed on one or more of the nine pathways, and not so much on others.
Below I have listed the roles or archetypes that best represent each of the nine pathways. Throughout your life, you will play all the roles listed below while continuously developing new skills and capacities in each of these lines of development. Â
- 1. Leader
- 2. Peace Maker
- 3. Artist
- 4. Builder
- 5. Change Agent
- 6. Care Giver
- 7. Scientist & Mystic
- 8. Manifestor
- 9. Healer
There are many benefits of this understanding but here is a big one:
Recognition of our development on 9 distinct pathways can offer liberating perspective about human behavior. When we realize every human being is unique with some lines of development open and flowing and others underdeveloped or blocked, we will….
- Be less surprised, disappointed, frozen in disbelief, frustrated, angry, or critical when we come across incongruences in ourselves and others
- Take responsibility to create appropriate boundaries with others and get help with the areas where we need to heal and learn
- Find it easier to refrain from comparing and criticizing
- Become more understanding, tolerant, and compassionate
- Stand strong in confidence and agency in the areas where we are naturally well developed, even while simultaneously experiencing steep learning curves in other areas.
I created a video in my backyard that includes a short teaching and guided inner journey to call forth your human potential on the 9 Pathways of the Soul as exemplified by flowers. To view: 9 Flowers of Human Nature click

Would you criticize a flower when it’s struggling to develop?
I have always found it intriguing that we humans rarely criticize flowers. We just enjoy them and their flower nature. We may perhaps note asymmetries, find one aspect of the flower more pleasing than another, or are aware that the flower is still in the development stage. Overall, though, this usually does not inspire judgment of the flower. We accept
and are quite comfortable with its perfect imperfection.
What if we could have that same comfort and acceptance of our own and others perfect imperfection as we all move through the developmental stages of human evolution?
What if instead of critically judging ourselves and others, we chose compassion for the imperfections, including our human tendency to judge and criticize?
What might open up for you and those you serve?
How might life be different?
